Are you ready to feel like yourself again and enjoy life with your baby and loved ones?
Do you feel like you’ve lost yourself after having your baby?
Not enjoying life after having your baby can be pretty heart-breaking and devastating. You're hoping there is a small chance someone could possibly help you with how bad you're feeling, even though it may be hard to believe that anything can even help you feel better. I know this process is not fun, and can even be pretty scary. I've been there! As hard as it is to believe,
therapy can help you feel like yourself again, so you can begin to enjoy life with your baby.
My name is Thai-An. I am a mother and counselor who is passionate about helping pregnant and postpartum women overcome depression and anxiety so they can become the best mom they can be for their baby and other loved ones.
I unexpectedly went through my own dark postpartum journey after having my daughter, and I know first hand how terrifying it can be. I am so grateful to be able to say that I have fully recovered and have been inspired to open up my own counseling practice in South OKC to serve women who are currently struggling like I was a few years ago. I've dedicated myself to learning and practicing the most effective treatment approaches to help you feel better as soon as possible, so you can get back to taking care of your baby, connecting with your partner, and living life!
Counseling for Prenatal & Postpartum Depression/Anxiety
This service is very close to my heart. A new baby completely shakes up our whole world. It is hard enough without the prenatal or postpartum depression and anxiety. You're told that life with your new baby is going to be the best thing that will happen to you. You didn't expect to feel depressed, hopeless, and anxious instead of happy and excited. You didn't expect to feel like you've completely lost yourself. Therapy can help you feel like yourself again so you can begin to love life with your baby.
Traumatic Loss and Other Painful Experiences
You're heart-broken from an unbearable loss or you're haunted by thoughts and memories of terrible experiences from your past. Pregnancy and the postpartum phase sometimes makes us more vulnerable to triggers of past trauma and grief. You can't seem to get rid of these awful thougts and feelings. You just want to move on with life. Therapy can help you work through these painful emotions and experiences so you can fully be present with your baby and loved ones.
Brief Marriage Counseling /Couples Counseling
As I mentioned, a new baby can completely shake up our world, including our marriage. Couples counseling can help you reconnect and improve your relationship through pregnancy and the challenging postpartum transition.
On-site childcare available for your convenience
On-site childcare is provided on an as needed basis for those times when plans with the babysitter falls through. This will help moms be able to focus on their treatment and have a moment of true self-care. Sara Morrow loves little humans more than most types of humans and is great with them! I would trust her with my own daughter. She has had a lot of experience working at her church childcare and co-op childcare and states she does not mind being pooped on or spit-up on. Love her!
Pay in cash or check only. Childcare rates are:
$15/hour for one child
$5/hour for each additional child
Life with kids is exactly as expected, said no parent ever.
This is how we're told motherhood will be like.
This is how motherhood is actually like, completely unpredictable...
